Artist Statement
I project all my life into my art, paintings or drawings. My emotions, my desires, my frustrations, my family... everything is there... I live in each one of them.
My paintings aren’t just images, they are fruits of nature. Since I live with nature, my painting is a tree …the trunk and branches overlap gradually, plethora of foliage, my soul is the root, a trunk, a branch, working with colors that gradually strike brushstroke after brushstroke. Until the fabric becomes the painting. The painting itself carries all of its growing pains invisible to the naked eye.
These paintings are like the fruits of nature, perfectly ripe, that call to be picked.
